The Start of a New Year

The Start of a New Year

The year seems to just have begun, and already there are plenty of things on the program, all fun though!

January in Arizona is definitely something I could get used to. It is not often I have started the year in 70 degrees hitting golf balls in the sun, but that was the case this year. I spent two weeks of good practice before heading to Florida with the Danish National Team. Here I got to spend 10 days at the PGA Village in Port St. Lucie where they have amazing practice facilities. It was awesome to see many of my old friends again and get a lot of good practice with my coach Thomas.

Besides a lot of practice, I also ended up having a great day in Orlando with the two physical coaches and the mental coach for the National Team. We headed up to attend the PGA Show where I got to see a lot of familiar faces and meet with a new potential sponsor. Besides a productive day at the PGA Show we also got to enjoy a grueling NBA game with the Orlando Magic’s. It was a great break in all the days of practice and play, but overall I had a very productive 10 days in Florida.

I got back to Phoenix on the 30th of January and then got to celebrate my 25th birthday on February 1st by moving into a new apartment here in Arizona. There has been a lot of moving the last year and a half, so I am extremely excited to get to stay here for at least one year.  The following days have been spent moving in, and then tomorrow on February 6th I am going to the Dominican Republic to play in a pro-am for a week! Life is treating me good, and I am super excited about getting settled in here in Arizona and then to be spending a week in paradise :)
