Taking a Breather

Taking a Breather

While March has been a little hectic so far with tournaments, unfortunately so has school. My little ‘break’ from tournaments was taken over by a lot of homework and I can feel signs of ‘senioritis’ sneaking up on me. But now there is just 1½ month till graduation and I am getting really excited!

Since playing in San Diego I have been battling some serious allergies and also got a chance to go to the eye doctor. Turns out I am not equipped with as perfect vision as I thought, but now I am seeing clearly with contacts! And hey, if that can make me drain a few more putts it’s a complete win win.

As for golf, I have been able to practice more intensely and have focused a lot of technical things in my swing as well as my short game. Today, I was awarded with the Mountain West Conference Golfer of the Month which is a great honor for me to receive for the second consecutive month so I am one happy camper! Hopefully I can keep up the game and go for three in a row :)

This Saturday we head to Half Moon Bay in California. The course is right on the ocean and supposedly very beautiful so I am excited. We will be playing 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. So lets go Rebels!
