It’s Go Time

It's Go Time

Now I can finally pack my bags and head to the first tournament of the season. As a team we packed two vans and hit the road for a 4 hour drive to Valencia, California. My game has been a little up and down lately but I have been hitting the ball well the past few days so hopefully I can keep it going. I am excited but also a little nervous to see where I stand and how my shape is, but it will be a good test on a course I have played before.

Lately I have spent a lot of time in the gym working on a new workout routine that is targeted towards my core and gluteus. This should make me able to fire a lot more energy into my swing and keep my body in better tension. I can tell that I have improved physically since I started this program in the middle of January, and it will definitely benefit my golf swing to become stronger in these areas.

It is really exciting to be on the road with the team again after 4 months of no tournaments. I always have a lot of fun with my teammates who are some of my closest friends. Being my senior year and last semester playing for UNLV I will definitely make sure to enjoy every minute of it. I am really excited for the third tournament this season which is head in Hawaii! I have never been to Hawaii and as a team we will have a whole day to explore Honolulu before the practice round. I can’t wait :) Lots of fun awaits this season and it’s exciting to finally get started.
