Home for the Holidays

Home for the Holidays

After a busy but good semester, I am now back in Denmark to spend the holidays with my family. The climate has definitely presented its challenges in regards to golf practice, since a couple feet of snow has dumped over the Danish landscape since I have been back. An indoor facility just 15 minutes away from my house has made it possible for me to keep up the practice. Last weekend we had a gathering with the Danish National Team spending a full 2 days practicing and working out with technical, mental, and physical coaches.  Here I was able to work hard on the swing with my coach and hopefully improve it over the winter so I’ll be ready for the spring. Also, I worked a lot with my physical coach to put together an improved workout program for the coming semester. It was a very productive weekend and fun to practice with the players that I grew up playing with.

Other than some golf practice I am working out a lot but also making time to relax and enjoy the winter break. Denmark is currently covered in snow and it looks like it will be a white Christmas, which is unusual. It is so pretty here and definitely nothing like Las Vegas. The lake I live by has frozen over so some of the Christmas days naturally have to include ice skating and sledding.

Merry Christmas!
