An excited fall in all aspects of life

It has been a great fall for many reasons. In case you haven’t followed along on my social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) then be sure to do from now on ;) But I will give a little recap anyway and share a few pictures below.

After I successfully finished second stage of qualifying school, I went straight to the Hamptons in Long Island for an over-the-top pro-am. We stayed in the most amazing house, if you can even call it a house, with a huge pool and spa area, tennis court, fitness center, golf hole, golf simulator, game room, private theater etc. etc. Our host made sure we all felt extremely welcome and even had his private chef prepare some amazing meals for us nine professional golfers staying there. Needless to say, this was not our typical housing experience! Beyond the incredible stay itself, we got to play The Atlantic Club and Maidstone Club, two exceptional private courses which was a real treat.

Following the Hamptons pro-am, my boyfriend Patrick and I flew home to Arizona where my mom had arrived for two weeks of vacation. After a long season with lots of travel, I needed a little break from golf and I loved taking some time off and showing my mom around Arizona. A week into her stay, Patrick and his parents wanted to take us for a nice dinner since my mom was in town, but little did I know that there were some hidden motives. Before an amazing dinner, Patrick got down on one knee and proposed! After more than four of the most amazing years together I couldn’t be happier that we are engaged and that I get to marry the man of my dreams!

After a spectacular October month, the November issue of Golf Digest came out, with me in a four-page spread, modeling for a bunker article. I shot for the pictures back in April, and it is so cool to see the final result in such a big magazine. Below are pictures of the full article.

Besides all of the above listed events, I have gotten back into the groove of practice and just finished competing in the Arizona Open. It wasn’t too impressive with scores of 75, 73, 70, and an 8th place finish, but all I wanted to use the tournament for was to see where I need to practice harder the next few weeks before qualifying school. I also just got a new driver and 3-wood in my bag so it was a great opportunity to test those out in a tournament setting.

Time has gone by so fast these past months, and Thanksgiving is approaching as well as my departure date for Daytona Beach. My brother is flying all the way from Denmark to caddie for me, and I am so excited to having him on the bag for qualifying school.

Practice is calling for me now so I have to run, but I hope you enjoy the pictures below :)

Kind regards,
