I grew up in a calm neighborhood in Gentofte, Denmark with my older brother and my parents. From an early age I was intrigued by sports, and eventually in 1999 stumbled across golf. The activities there quickly evolved to more than ‘just’ a hobby and at the age of 15 I was elected for the Danish Golf Union’s Junior National Team. The close affiliation with the Danish Golf Union has continued since then, through high school and eventually through college at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Representing Denmark has given me great opportunities to compete on a high international level as well as working with some of the country’s best coaches. Travelling the world as a teenager has in many ways shaped me as a golfer.

After high school I decided to take on college life in the US as part of the UNLV women’s golf team. While spending the majority of the time on golf course with my teammates, school has also been an important part of my college experience. In May 2011 graduated with a bachelor in Marketing (Magna Cum Laude). The link between golf and studies in the US has made it possible for me to play in tournaments at a very high level, in a warmer climate ideal for golf, as well as receiving an education.

In the fall of 2011 I turned professional and in 2012 I had my rookie year on the Symetra Tour finishing 26th on the money list and making every cut. In 2013 I endured a back injury which kept me away from golf most of the season. All healthy again I competed a full season on the Symetra Tour in 2014, and in the fall of that year I qualified for the LPGA Tour at the final stage of LPGA qualifying school. 2015 was my rookie season on the LPGA Tour.
